The interests and policies of the president of Indonesia and Russia are represented by the Honorary Consulate of Indonesia in St. Petersburg, headed by the ambassador. The Honorary Consulate of Indonesia in St. Petersburg preserve and protect the relationship, and be a point of contact between Indonesia and Russia. The Indonesia Embassy has officers for economic, management, political, public diplomacy and consular roles.
