Request for Guidance on Certified Russian Translation of Academic Documents
My name is Bakarr Fawaz, a Sierra Leonean citizen based in Freetown. I am writing to kindly request your assistance and guidance regarding the certified translation of my academic documents into Russian.
I am processing my application for a Master’s degree at Kazan Federal University in Russia, and as part of the application requirements, I am required to submit notarized Russian translations of the following documents:
1. My Sierra Leonean passport
2. My Bachelor of Science degree certificate (Kwara State University, Nigeria, 2019)
3. My official academic transcript
I would be very grateful if the Embassy could assist with any of the following:
• Recommending a list of certified Russian translators or translation agencies recognized for academic and visa documentation purposes
• Advising on the notarization process for translated documents to ensure they meet Kazan Federal University requirements
• Confirming whether the Embassy can authenticate translated documents directly
I am available to visit the Embassy in person at your convenience. Please let me know the appropriate channel for this request and any documentation I should bring.
